Raspberries are second only to cherries in my world.

I don’t like either so definitely not, I’d put fruit with cream or ice cream myself!

Raspberries have a delicate taste. I prefer them not being drenched in custard.

My trifle is made with raspberries, cherries, creme de cassis and custards. I LOVE it, it's my favorite thing every Christmas. Send your wifey over for some or even better - make one for her! I believe my trifle will help you resolved the situation

I would say making her one will work better

Just raspberries with custard I don't know. Around Christmas I am known to have a drop of creme de cassis, cherries, custard as dessert even if its' not full trifle but the taste of the alcohol is what makes it.

I think wifey may be persuaded by the alcohol (only joking caj!)
