Disney ticket when part of Disney package

We’ve booked 5 nights staying at Coronado springs with Disney tickets (part of dining credit offer) due to check in 24th April.

Will the theme park tickets automatically work to go to theme park for opening prior to check in at hotel or will we need to hotel first?

You can check in online, I would do that.

My ticket didn't activate automatically this trip though, so still had to go to guest relations to get it sorted.

The tickets won’t work before you have checked in, been there tried that. We were sent to Guest Services and they called the hotel to check us in. Presume online check in would have worked too, but that was not what was suggested when the tickets didn’t work and we did as we were told on that occasion.
