I booked our seats this morning so that has made it seem a bit more real now.

Too much of minefield for me. I'm patiently waiting to book.
Actually I’ve been studying the Nationwide Flexplus and I think as long as not actually travelling against FCO advice all medical etc is covered it’s just cancellation for Covid reasons. I didn’t need to claim on insurance this time so all I’d stand to lose by cancelling flights would be £30pp as I understand it if using miles to book UC.

Would be great to hear of insurers who are covering trips booked at this point in time. Or are people just booking low deposits and taking a chance?

It is exciting to see this part of the forum buzzing again! Hang in there...
I’ve seen Staysure mentioned a few times as an insurer who provides cover for covid
