Ours goes up quite close to Christmas because the cat thinks it’s a toy and likes to destroy it!

Our tree is really old and I don't really like it anymore. I can't decide if I just make do this year (don't know if anyone will even get to see it, or will it be just me and DH?), buy a lovely one I have seen on-line, or get a real one? Either way it will go up in December
|

My mum had her Christmas tree for years and it was one those where you had to put in each individual branch on each section, but because of her back problems, it was my partner and I that used to have to come round to put it up. It used to take us a whole evening just to put the branches on! Eventually last year I made her throw it in the bin when it came down! I was nice though and I gave her my £25 Tesco gift voucher to put towards a new one.
