Home Bargains

Hello all

I was just wondering if anyone else on here is a shopper at Home Bargains? I popped in there this morning to have a look. I bought a pack of one of my favourite biscuits for 45p. The exact same pack in Morrisons is £1.20. I can't see how Morrison's can charge nearly three times the amount for the same product. I could also list other items I got today which are far, far cheaper in Home Bargains than other stores. I also got 12.6kg of bird seed for £3.99. I didn't realise how good the prices were at Home Bargains, and in the future I will definitely keep shopping there.

Also, years ago I shopped at ASDA but now pay around 40% less per week, since I have been shopping at Aldi. The money I am going to save using Aldi and Home Bargains, is, of course, contributing towards the "time to go back to Florida" fund

Apparently it’s gaining quite a following and making loads of money.

I moved 18 months ago and I am now a 5 minute drive to home bargains so buy lots of stuff there. I have not yet tried their frozen chicken bucket, think its something like £1.99 and would probably do 4 - has anyone tried it?

I shop,Aldi and home Bargins
For the odd branded items I can’t get in Aldi like Bisto and a couple of cleaning items
Biggest difference I’ve found recently is options hot coco £1/20 compared to £3/99 in Asda
DIL she says branded fabric softener and unstoppables and the odd thing she can’t get in Aldi

You can definitely get some bargains in there, I also buy the 12kg of bird seed for £3.99, much cheaper than anywhere else.

Things like Bacofoil tin foil and cling film are much cheaper, over the counter medications and toiletries.

I've only been in once since March though, I bought 24kg of bird seed.

We usually buy lots of toothbrushes and toothpastes, especially for the kids, and stock up. Cleaning stuff, stationary, sweets...I usually only go in for a few bits!
