Moving house and online shopping

This is our first move in 15 years so not something we thought about last time.

We’re likely to be moving before Xmas and I currently have my Tesco shops booked through to 23rd Dec. I don’t think you can have them diverted to a different address but not 100% sure.

Not sure if I should book some deliveries for the new address but then I’d feel bad as I’d be preventing someone else from booking.

I guess I’d just lose my Xmas delivery 😭

Anybody have any advice?

For grocery deliveries you need to book a slot for the address you want to delivered too - other things like amazon you can have diverted . It is often local stores and local vans that deliver for Tesco’s unlike Ocado which come from warehouses and as such are more flexible

It might depend how far you are moving as if it is still the same store packing/delivering there will be a way to have the address changed. If it would be a different store I'd try emailing customer service to see if they can move your slot to a new store rather than losing it.
