Mobile Christmas Wreath and window

I am not someone who does crafts but this year decided to make my own Christmas wreath. I even put a few Mickey & minnies on it!
We also had a lady come round and do a scene on our Mary Poppins mad daughters window!

How lovely
As a crafter I’m loving the fact that lockdown no matter how rubbish it is many non crafters are having a go at something
In crafting there are no mistakes just unique creations made with love ( and sometimes blood sweat tears and a good few expletives when you burn yourself with hot glue like I did several times to day )

I used a swimming noodle and glued it together. I then wrapped silver gaffa tape round it all to hold it and to also stop the hot glue melting the foam.
Then I used hot glue gun to put the baubles on.
I did the outside and inside later first using round baubles and then built on it from that.

🤣 one day of working on it I badly burnt 3 fingers, I didn’t do anything on the wreath for a few weeks after! I quickly learnt to be very careful with it!

Thank you, I honestly don’t make anything, I am rubbish at most craft things or painting but really surprised myself with the wreath and I enjoyed doing it.

I was just to lazy in to much of a hurry making hair bands / rosettes for our Gdks / cousins nursery bubble for st Andrews day only got the message this morning to bring out my finger protectors lesson learned once again
I usually buy several sets in Dollar Tree when in Florida but they are available on Amazon some just on there own some with a silicon Matt for glue guns the mat saves your surfaces / expensive cutting mats
The finger protectors are now in the same box as the glue gun
