“Stay at home” hamper

As it looks like we’re set for restrictions throughout the winter I thought I’d make a hamper for my parents and MIL with things they can do (or eat) while they can’t go out over January.

I’ve thought of a few things to go in them:
Puzzle
Books
Soap/bubble bath

But I thought I would ask here in case anyone has any inspiration that might help me. I don’t want it to be too depressing, but did think that stuff to stop them getting bored would be good!

Good idea but I can’t think of much. Depends how old they are also.

Jigsaw
Alcohol
Jars of nice chutney
Fancy tea or Coffee
Mugs
Cheeses
Face Masks
Slippers
Socks
Netflix subscription if they don’t have one

A small lego or other construction kit for your Fil. My DH loves this sort of thing. Puzzle magazine with some nice pens. Adult colouring book. A paperback. Nice biscuits. I think this is a lovely idea and I am sure they will be really grateful

Thanks for the suggestions.

I saw another thread on general chat mentioning Piglet’s Pantry too, so I think I might add a voucher for afternoon tea to the one for my Dad and step mum.

I like the bread making kit too - they just got a new Aga, so they could give it a whirl in that.

If they’ve travelled a lot in the past, one of those maps where you scratch off where you’ve been ? We got Dad one for his birthday and he loved it. They’ve travelled a lot, so loved thinking about what they did in each country while they were doing the map, and it helps show where they’ve still got to go 😊
