hi
hi everybody,
i havent been to florida since been 1992 since i was 9 and tbh i can't remember much, we have currently booked with thomas cook flying premium economy for next june 2018 got to be honest never been anywhere like this as a family with wife and kids in tow, so looking for masses of advice. need to book our car hire, wheres best and cheapest? advice on days and planning? and we are staying at the all star movies resort as we wanted to treat our soon to be 5 year old and 2 n half year old to a seriously disney hotel, apparently it comes with free breakfast or food at all the other disney hotels and in the parks, how does this work what can we have? also decent places to eat and what is there to do? i think the wife is bit overwhelmed at possibly having to plan everything so she doesnt know where to start, she's been bamboozled with having to book meals 6 month in advance and whatever magic bands are cheers for any of your help |

Welcome to the DIBB there's loads of helpful advice here so you are in the right place.
The all stars looks like a fabulous resort, my daughter loves the look of the theming and the pool so I think it will really appeal to your kids. The breakfast is actually a meal credit per person per day it certainly used to be redeemable at any time of the day and I believe it still is. It can be used at parks or resorts anywhere in disney that serves food at a counter. This makes people think of McDonald's but it's much more than this. Yes you order at a till, pay for your food and take it to the table yourself on a tray, but the variety of food available is huge from a different cultures, catering for all dietary needs and is not just burgers. Try not to worry about planning days. It can be great fun looking at all there is to do in each park and figuring out what rides or shows you want to see. I hope you have a brilliant time

Yeah we've picked it mainly for the oversized characters, I wanted to stay at either port Orleans French quarter or animal kingdom but we considered our kids were too young to appreciate those sorts of places and would love the big characters
