18 Day holiday, how to structure the tickets?

Thankyou everyone, I was hoping that the current tickets are a combination of three tickets! That makes life a little easier as we could do seaworld/busche first few days and some shopping and then break into the disney/universal tickets.

OP! I think you have got it spot on
As said previously , combination tickets are always separate
So 1) SW/BG/AQ on one ticket 2) US/IOA/VB on another and 3 ) Disney on another
Disney 14 day tickets actually last for 15 days if you have a day off

If you are considering going to all the park's though, I would consider looking at other options for Disney ( magic your way ) or universal ( maybe 2 or 3 day tickets ) to save some money

Hi we usually go for the Orlando Freedom Ticket, this gives you 3 separate tickets.
Disney and Universal never have a combined ticket regardless of which tickets you do buy.

Can you really use the 14 day ultimate to its full advantage. Have a look at 10 day base tickets. Could save you a bit. Savings were better before the exchange rate dropped but every little helps.

There is no single ticket that covers the Disney and Universal parks. They are always separate.

Personally, I'd just buy 14 day tickets for Disney, Universal and Seaworld/Busch. Start the Seaworld ticket on day 1, the Universal ticket on day 2 or 3, and the Disney ticket on day 4. The Disney ticket will then last until day 18.

I think the 10 day Base ticket is now more expensive than the 14 day ticket for this year. The official price is $490, which is about £380.

Hi Nimbus, where did you see that price, as I am seeing this as $468.60 on the US Disney site.

Yeah, sorry. My price is the gate price. The online price is $20 cheaper.

So you're right, you can get the 10 day base ticket for a bit cheaper. Its also cheaper still on places like Orlando Attractions ($434) or Undercover Tourist, which does then make it a little cheaper than the 14 day ticket.

As you say It's cheaper than the 14 day ticket, but I think people should take into account that there's no park hopping, no memory maker, and no water parks with it. If you buy it from orlandoattractions.com it cost £338.52, you can buy the Disney 14 Day Ultimate ticket which includes everything for £351 from Florida Escapes.

If people are not interested in the water parks, park hopping, or the memory maker, then definitely buy the 10 day base ticket, otherwise It's worth paying the £13 more for the Ultimate.

Totally agree with you if It's just for base tickets, but if they want to park hop, use the water parks, or want the memory maker, it becomes expensive.

Just to give the OP some idea of the different options.

Take a 6 Day MYW ticket.

There are so many options available that it will depend on how many days they want to visit the parks for, plus whether they want to park hop, use the water parks, or want the memory maker.
