This is why we'd never done it before as we'd only ever previously done New York for 4 days and there was never time. So glad we went for the week and managed to fit some extra bits in this time.

Don't get me wrong it still has an edge of 'tackiness' to it especially when you first get out of the subway! However, the new boardwalk is lovely and the beach is beautiful. If you get a sunny day in September I'd definitely recommend it!

I'm rubbish! A whole month and I've not done the next post! Hoping to put that right today!

Loved Coney Island last year when we were there on our 1st visit to NYC! We're going back in 3 weeks but bring our 3 kids this time & can't wait to bring them to CI! I think it's a nice break from the city specially in summer & defo if you have kids in tow as they'll a ball at Luna park!
