Recent meal options in Virgin economy?
Hello.
Has anyone flown Virgin econ recently? Just wondering if they still do the veggie pasta option? Thanks

Recent menus I've seen on here don't look great, think outbound was Chilli, Chicken in mushroom sauce and a pesto pasta. Think I'll be making a stop at the Greggs in Manchester T2 arrivals for some sausage rolls before we go through security haha |

Have a look on Virgin Atlantic on TripAdvisor- there’s some April 2019 menus on there that people have photographed

This was economy from Gatwick to Barbados at the weekend. It was ok but there seemed to be far less of both the main meal and the afternoon tea. I was actually still hungry 😳

And I didn’t see anyone eat the ‘Japanese salad’ AKA 3 bits of lettuce and 2 bits of cucumber!

Chilli was delish but spicy! Pesto pasta was not good and the sandwich also had pesto 😬 not sure what inbound has to offer yet.

I'll always remember having the best food on a Continental flight to the US as a teenager (do they still exist?)
Cheese and ham sandwich (no nasty mayo) and a big cookie. I was in heaven lol. I'm flying on the 4th May so can hopefully update you all with any menu changes |

Outbound and inbound menu Man to Mco The chilli was okay. I had the BBQ o the way back that wasn't great tbh. DH is a beige eater so I pre-ordered online the kids meal which was cheese pasta. Which he said was passable. Not sure if this is much help Edited at 10:35 PM. |
