20 days, 2 disney hotels, 2 lots of tickets.

Hi, we go to universal first, so our first disney park day will start late morning after we have checked into POR.
After 14 nights we go to the Riviera for 6 nights. As we will have used our 14 day tickets for each of the 14 day POR stay will we have to actually check into the Riviera before we can go to the park on our change of resort day and use the 7 day tickets?
Hope this makes sense.
Thanks.

I am assuming the Riviera stay is booked as a hotel + ticket package. It used to be the case that you had to check in at reception but given you can check in online now, you should be able to use that and head straight to the park. If it were me, I would plan for HS that day so if you did have any issues, it's just a Skyliner ride over to the resort to sort out. Or possibly Epcot, but you'd need to arrive at the IG entrance rather than the front where the buses drop off.

But if Riviera is a room only or DVC rental stay and you purchased tickets separately, the two aren't linked at all so you can head straight to the park.

Thank you-yes it's a package. X
