Hilton leaving Tesco Clubcard

News item that Tesco Clubcard are losing another partner with Hilton confirmed as leaving.

Looks like if you have exchanged your points for Hilton voucher but not yet booked your hotel, you must book & stay by 31st December.

Oh no! We have a £315 voucher from last year’s cancellation. Do you have a link?

About 7 times at the LGW south terminal and a couple at MAN consigned to history then.

The good thing about using them direct with Hilton rather than via Tesco/Hotels.com was that they covered the whole cost of B&B including all taxes.

You can use them with APH parking I believe which we may try - if we need LHR parking next month of course.

You can use them at Hotels.com.
Not sure whether they usually offer good prices though?

I have very few Clubcard points now, just enough (£10) for a £30 Two Together railcard. Only buy our favourite coffee there now as its regularly on sale, that said I'm buying it in Asda tomorrow. Aldi and Lidl are our choice for groceries now.

We booked the Hilton through Hotels.com with our Tesco Clubcard points. I didn't even realise you could do it directly

The only way we ever did it over all our stays was direct. We went to the actual Hilton LGW web page and entered promo code PR20TC and it came up with only Tesco rates. We booked it there and redeemed the Tesco vouchers. The process after that changed a little over the years from having to produce a printed voucher at check-in to being up to date with just an email. Sadly you couldn't add dinner to the voucher at £3/£1 rate. I have to say though that the choice and quality of their buffet dinner has declined over the years in our opinion.

Sometime in the last couple of years it changed to having to visit a specific Tesco/Hilton web site but as we only used them for airport stays we never used that route.

Over the past 10+ years we've also stayed in Hiltons for w/e breaks but very often there were no rooms available on Tesco Deals. Maybe countryside hotels only had a couple of rooms at Tesco rates.

Do they not still do £3 for £1 on hotels.com. That is pretty good so just book that way.
