There’s been a few posts over the last couple of months of people having confirmations from universal they can do it.

As long as you have a case number you should have no issues upgrading the tickets, we did this last year after we also emailed asking if it would be possible after we got home and randomly booked to go again. Just went to guest services outside one of the parks, showed them the email and paid the small amount extra to upgrade them. They set the start date to whenever you first used your original tickets.

80% of the seats in premium are free to book on Virgin. It’s only the first 2/3 rows that cost. The first row can’t be booked as they’re bassinet seats and get allocated at check to those that request them.
That’s a cracking room rate ($636) for 1st week of Easter. 3 of us are UOAP and one isn’t. Shouldn’t be any issues booking(?) and I assume still get two days of passes?

Yeap, passes for both check in and check out day. You can go pick up the room keys which are also your express passes on the morning before the parks open, they'll then text you your room number later when it's ready.

I have just booked via the link, thanks for posting

It doesn't seem to have charged me yet, I guess they charge the card when you check in?

I also can't seem to link the reservation to my universal account, has anyone been able to do this?

On my last couple of bookings they charged the card a day or two after I booked.

Only 1 person in the room needs to have an AP to get the rate.

On booking you get an email with your reservation details, at this point you don't usually see any money taken but then within about 48hrs you get a 'reservation confirmed' email and you will find then that the money for the first nights stay will have been taken. Any remaining nights are then paid on check-in at the hotel.
They can see on the system that you are an Annual Pass holder because the first time I asked if they needed to see my pass and the desk clerk said "It's ok, I can see here that you are an annual pass holder"

Thanks everyone, just panicking I had done something wrong as the reservation code won't link to the universal account
I will be patient and wait until the money is taken, hopefully it will link then
Managed to save £100 compared to Travel Republic so really happy

I don’t think I’ve ever seen my hotel bookings in my universal account, always book through Loews directly and I can’t see in the app where it would show your hotel reservations.

Unlike Disney (where you get the hotel benefits on your profile even before you check in) you still need to visit the hotel and check in to get your key cards for early park access and express so there’s no benefit to linking anyway,

You can manage your booking on the Loews website with the booking confirmation and your surname.
