Tropical Storm - What to do?

So our original plan was to go to Clearwater tomorrow and take a picnic to the beach 😂

I’m thinking that this might not be a great idea.

My husband isn’t keen on the idea of driving if the rain is going to be too heavy - we’re staying at Bahama Bay in Davenport.

Rain and thunderstorms are predicted all day, so what would you do? There’s three of us, me, husband and our son who’s 19.

Definitely! My husband is also reluctant to drive into Disney and certainly doesn’t want to walk around in the rain.

Wondering whether there is any indoor entertainment anywhere?

It’s horrific on Anna Maria right now. We’re on another tornado watch, a lot of roads under water. Tide down at the moment but think next high tide is about 2am. Winds are terrible at the moment too. We’re in a bungalow, street at the front is flooded, waterway at the rear. Water breeched the top at high tide at midday earlier so god knows what will happen during the night. I’m lying in bed, can’t bear to watch the constant weather channels. I’ve experienced storms in our country but this is the first time I’ve experienced anything like this. I’ve not eaten a thing all day, feel sick, now have a headache coming on. I’m praying for morning.

Personally I’d just go to the supermarket, get the food and goodies in and have a chilled day in the condo reading a book etc - there’s probably not many times when you’d have a full day just chilling and doing nothing when you’re over there.

Up International Drive, there are some Indoor attractions such as Ripleys believe it or not, Titanic exhibition to name a couple.

Alternatively Disney Springs has Splitsville, a 10 pin bowling centre that's indoors.

If you pop to the BB Reception, there is a rack with lots of brochures plus pick up the Florida magazine, this should help give you some ideas.

We were planning on going to Islands of Adventure today but have changed plans and now plan on going to Wonderworks (free tickets) and Titanic museum. Always wanted to go to the Titanic museum and never had the opportunity.
