Milton - flying Wednesday

Tampa airport is closing Tuesday 0900. I’m at cocoa and the storm is expected Wednesday evening into Thursday pm. We are on a flood watch at the moment but I’ve seen on weather channel that it could be down to a level one when it hits here.

I was on the phone to them this afternoon and the person I spoke with mentioned that flights 8-10 October can be moved. I'd call them.

Ive got someone that has no clue

I moved my flight this afternoon from the Thursday to the Friday.

Surprisingly BA couldn't have been more helpful.

I spoke with three people.

First person a guy called Callum. Excellent and gave me options to consider.

Second person a girl who tried to charge me an extra £150 to shorten my stay at the hotel for one night. I just hung up and called back.

Third person sorted everything out and said would drop the hotel a note to say I'd check in a day late and to hold the room.

As Im here and no real rush to go home, I'll wait till they offer me an alternative flight home, as they cover hotel and food expenses etc on the delayed bit 👍🏼

Is it best to wait for aer lingus to email and cancel and give another flight? Or should I not wait for that and phone to re schedule?
Anybody with advice that’s been in this situation.
