Rod Reel Pier Anna Maria Island
I know there are worse things that have happened in the hurricanes but
This is what Rod Reel pier looked like when my sons was there 3-4 weeks ago  This is what it looked like after Helene had passed through  This is what is now looks like after Milton 🥲

Saw the pictures yesterday and hoped they were fake but unfortunately not, hope it can be rebuilt in the future.

This has made me especially sad. Our last trip to Florida, in April 2019 ended on AMI. It was just a couple of months before Isabel was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and a year before we lost her. This picture of us at Rod and Reel (Izzy sitting in the right), seems even more poignant today. 🥺
