epcot international festival of the holidays

I'm looking at making a few ADR's now that I've sorted out my FP's. I've managed to grab tables at Tusker and Liberty Tree tavern a few hours before the evening shows - pleased about that.

Over at Epcot, I'm looking at food before the Illuminations. One thing that's popped up on my list of possibilities is the Epcot international foof festival of the holidays.

Has anyone experienced this? There's a few places on my hit list that I'd like to try (Teppan Edo, ROse and Crown, , China Pavilion) but I don't know what to go for.

Thinking aloud, I suppose if we've been in Epcot for the entire day, we may want to sit before watching Illuminations. I assume the food festival will be lots of walking?

ANy thoughts? Thanks!

Sheesh - should proof read. Food festival, not foof festival. That'd bring a whole new meaning to my question <blush>.

Secondly - now that I've looked closely- there are LOTS of festival tickets for different dining - where do I start?!

I think you may mean the Food & Wine Festival which runs from Aug 29th to November 23rd. During this period there are a lot of special events, but also food stalls all over the park, though mainly around World Showcase which basically have samples of food and drink from various countries. These can largely be purchased using Snack Credits on the DDP and are often very filling. There is a very useful app called WDW Food & Wine which lists every stall, shows them on a map and lists what food is available at what stall, how much and indicates which are available for DDP snack credits. The app covers every Epcot festival, and allows you to see what was on offer at previous events. It will automatically update information ahead of any upcoming event when Disney releases the details. Here's a couple of screenshots:

Individual Stall Food Listing

PS The Festival of the Holidays is later 29th Nov to 30th Dec, but it will be covered by the app too
