I understand what you mean Robot, but I don’t know the answer 😊. What you’re saying is what’s to stop you booking three FPs for the 30th June, even though you’re not going to be there, therefore denying someone else the chance of booking those FPS. I don’t think there’s anything stopping you, other than why would you? 😊

First of all a 2020 ticket would not be valid in any case before January 1st and the system knows from the ticket number that it is not valid before that date. Secondly tickets sent out with packages cannot be used before the date of your arrival, and again the system knows that too. I have a ticket for 14 days for my holiday in September, but as my arrival date is not till 10th I know it is unusable before that date. I am pretty sure that when you purchase a ticket you have to specify the date you intend to be there, the ticket is not then valid for anything until that date. When you link a ticket you have to specify your date of arrival and that is the date the system will activate the ticket and the date it determines access to the FP booking system. That is how I understand it

Right. That makes sense. We haven’t used MDE or the new fast pass system (haven’t been to Disney since 2013 which is when it started being phased in). I didn’t know you had to specify a date of travel 😊

Yep when you purchase your ticket... you put in an arrival date! I always set Ours to start the day after we arrive, we are always too tired to go on travel day cos we stay off site.

I could go on to the app and look at available fast passes before my 30 days... but I couldn't actually book any until my 30 days before

Hi if you buy tickets that are not part of a package and link them you can put any travel date in to start and look at and book fp, but of course your tickets are only activated when you enter a park 🙂 So I could link tickets and say I’m arriving next month but not be travelling until November. But then yes it would be pointless booking fp and prevent you from booking them for the dates you are there 🙂

😂😂😂. Have no intentions of doing Disney for a long time yet 😂😂😂. No parks for us this time, other than a cheeky trip to Busch Gardens. When all the hype has died down at HS we’d like to go and see Galaxy’s Edge, so probably looking at 2035
