We quite often eat at TGI in the leisure park. We’ve always had good service & food there

Yep, another recommendation for Crawley Leisure Park

Crawley leisure park is easy (plus in Hollywood bowl they have 2p machines if you want to kill a little time, and a cineworld too)
There is a weatherspoons in horley (name escapes me!) also one in Crawley, I go to the cinema at Crawley a fair amount, apart from Pizza Hut being very slow always, the rest over that way are decent (you can book a table online for frankie and bennies, or the Toby cavery that’s down the road if your going on a busy day too)
A short walk from the leisure park there’s a creams cafe, and pizza express too, also a large Morrison’s that’s situated by the bus stop back to Gatwick, if you want extra snacks.
Bus is cheap, if there’s a few of you cab might be economical.
Reigate is a short train ride if you want a wander round a park, also got lots of the usual places to eat (wagamamas nanados, pizza express.) I wouldn’t go too much further then that area though as yourll spend most your time on the train. (Oh Dorking has a good Indian and a good Chinese, probably something horley or Crawley way but I wouldn’t be able to vouch for that)

Sorry for the ramble, I live reasonable nearby so if there a particular thing you might like do ask!

I’d almost be minded to pop up to London and see some sights (unless you’re from there!)

I was going to suggest this

But then read this, hope they manage to re open, it was a lovely quaint pub

Another vote for Crawley leisure park. Cinema, bowling, several food chains. Perfect way to start a holiday

The Parsons Pig is very nice; we also stay at the Hilton overnight & grabbed an Uber both ways; only 5-10 minutes drive.
They do both a British menu & an Indian menu.
Very nice but book a table as we did; a very popular place!

the Indian food (or pub menu) at the Parsons Pig is really good, just on the edge of the airport and attached to one of the Premier Inns
