Have you been during Columbus Day?
Any experiences on this will be great. Is it crazy busy all week? Just on the day? Or not that much different?

We were in MK for Columbus day last year and it was rammed! Apparently a lot of people take the week off and make a holiday out of it. To be honest, the other days didn’t seem too bad, certainly not as busy as the actual day.
If you are going to be there for Columbus Day, maybe just avoid MK that day. |

It's a Bank Holiday, how busy would the UK be on a BH weekend Our experience: Mainly fall into 2 groups - Those that travel early & return Mon or those that travel late & return Tues or later. Look it will be busy but not Summer busy & tbh there are no quiet times now anyway

Thank you both. How did you both find the weather during that time?

we usually go in early october so have been there a few times on colombus day. usually in the evening for MNSSHP, and hadn't really noticed that much of a difference.
the only thing we did notice that day were *massive* queues to get into the vineland outlet mall. like half an hour to get in. we promptly turned round and went elsewhere... weather-wise. hot and sunny, with random scattered showers mostly, although its tropical storm season, so could potentially be a complete washout Edited at 03:06 PM. |

Last year was post hurricane & scorching, we landed at MCO & it was bouncing down by the next day it was Mid 90's with 80-90% humidity!

We’ve planned a visit to Space Kennedy for that day, hopefully that won’t be so manic!
