Buying Disney Tickets Direct --- Start Date ?

May of been asked a million times...

Was just about to order some Disney tickets, and then going through the booking it states -

Your tickets are valid for use from <XX> July 2019. (date replaced for example.)

In the past, tickets have been valid for the full year and it didn't matter when activated ?

Can anyone confirm if this displayed date is the date from when the tickets will be only be active from and then valid for 15 days only from the displayed date or from when first used ?

As we are going for 19 nights, we are not sure at this stage what our first WDW park day will be ?

I think that's when you can start using them, but your first day will be when you actually use the park for the first time [when you first activate them] if that makes sense.
