Transportation between WDW parks and resorts
Hi Guys, first post on here
We're going to WDW for the first time and staying onsite in July next year (2A 2C). My question is what is the transportation like between the parks and resorts? Is the free transportation system ok and reliable? And how frequent is it? TIA |

In our experience it's excellent.
Can depend a little on where you are staying and the time you want go go to/leave the parks though. Don't think we've ever not got on a bus due to crowding but believe that this can happen, particularly at the large resorts and at season peaks. You'll certainly get some helpful replies on here and have a great trip.

I think that the site for the transport time table is ourlaughingplace.com

Thanks will check that site out. I see people use Uber, Lyft etc as well so just wondered what the free transport was like.
EDIT: That site is really helpful, thanks! 👍 Edited at 02:49 PM. |

the transport system is great - you do hear people complaining about it sometimes but on the whole it works really well and I believe that you can now see times on the MDE app.
When it's park close, things can seem a bit hectic but they lay on extra buses so if there's a big queue and you don't get on, you don't have long to wait. On our last trip in June we had one morning where we were waiting for a bus to MK and we were waiting nearly 40 mins but the rest of the time it was never more than a 15 minute wait wherever we were going. It's advertised that they run every 20 minutes and stat at 6.30am until something like an hour and a half after park close during off peak times we have sometimes been the only ones on the bus. The system works very well with big boards at each park and Disney Springs to tell you which bus stop number you need. strollers need to be folded and wheel chairs/ECVs are loaded before passengers get on
