We were there for four hours in July. Didn't even think about limits

Time passes so quickly in the lounges, it doesn't feel like you are hanging around waiting for a flight!
We found that by the time we had a bit of food, had a couple of drinks and checked emails it was time to leave and walk to the gate😄
I can't wait to fly Virgin UC again and it was only supposed to be a one off treat!
It's seriously addictive!

You'll have to let us know what you think of the Delta lounge, we declined it (as we had family also travelling in Economy) they gave us a gift card for the main restaurant.
I'll be interested to know whats included / available.

Its quite busy but we got a couple of the large brown leather chairs.
Plenty of snacks, a salad bar, fresh fruit, strawberries, blueberries, little cakes, cookies, pretzels, crackers, selection of cheeses, dips , houmous, an ice cream freezer, & plenty of drinks to choose from. We are drinking tea! oh & a bar!
Nice & cool in here to

I always travel there and back upper class - or business class if using other airlines. I always reckon that by the time we pay for lounge passes, extra baggage and this time transfers for and from the airport - it does not work out that much dearer. My problem was I went out to Australia business class when someone else was paying and that spoilt me for ever. If I can't afford the flight - I don't go. I am not the best traveller and although I do not usually like the food on the way out and rarely eat and do not drink - I still think it is worth the comfort. I can often loose a few days on arrival being ill after travelling so anything to make it better for me is worth it. With Virgin, I also get the comfort of a massage at the airport.

We are the same as you. My holiday starts the night before at the airport hotel, and the flight is part of that holiday.
Did economy once long haul sone 30 years ago. Vowed never again. Flown all over tge world in business/first and many times you can get a great deal with some working out and start points.

It was on its own away from the main food area, against a pillar. I wondered what it was as people kept walking over to it lifting the lid & poking around!
