I second what Sha9 said...Just like asking what's your favourite car...Everyone will have their own favourites for lots of reasons..I love reading reviews on various sites and checking out the menus..

Agree with this. And if the thread goes on for long enough you could just get a list of all the restaurants at Disney.

I was first time visitor this year and made my choices by looking at pictures and reading menus

I totally agree with the comment about the list of restaurants! There will be some themes but I find the ones that come up top we don't really fancy the menu.

Think the OP is looking for suggestions to investigate, and maybe reasons why people eyed them.

Seems to be a lot of replies to people just referring them to older posts - things do change. I raved about Garden Grill before, but food was poor this year - but experience was one of the best still.

If you don't get any further on here OP, I'd go here:

When we decide which restaurants we may want to book we:

look at the food options
decide if we want to go for a certain ambience or "gimmick"
go on recommendations
mix what we (the adults) fancy and what our DD's might like

Last time I was only a bit disappointed with 'Ohana (bad table/poor service) and Chefs de France (perfectly edible, but wouldn't repeat), however, overall, we enjoyed all our experiences for different reasons.

(We chose our ADR's back in May, Kona Cafe was booked as we fancied the menu - they then changed it in the summer and all of the meals I fancied have disappeared ).

As 2 adults on our first trip we loved teppan edo and have been every trip since. It's a great dining experience. Garden grill is good too. I prefer that they bring the food to you rather than a buffet. Makes it less chaotic!
