I'm so sorry to hear your bad news. I'm another one who would go alone rather than losing all the money, although I'm sure it would be hard emotionally for you. Sending lots of hugs your way xx

I'm sorry, this all sounds so awful. I agree with others here, if you can't get someone to go with you, could you at least go on your own? There's no reason why you should have to miss out, after all!

So sorry to hear this. I agree with others and believe if you can't find someone to go with then you should go alone. It probably won't be easy and you may still be emotional but a break away will help. There is no point on you losing out because of his choices.

Go
On your own
Fun the ≈≈≈≈ out of the holiday
Post copious pics on faceache showing you having said fun

Honestly honey it sounds like you are better off without him, use it as a "getti over the idiot" holiday and take the time to decide what you are going to do next

Easier said than done I fully appreciate... but the food and wine festival is on the entire time you are there and that will help

We only got married on 5th August as well.
So thoughtful to let you know all this after the wedding.
I'd do what others have suggested and go on your own.

Sending lots and lots of pixie dust your way!

totally agree
As hard as it is you are definitely better off without someone like that, I would 100% still go, I know it's easy for other people to say but even if you go & your sad some days I'd rather be sad there than here

My heart really goes out to you and I don't like name calling but such a coward that couldn't be honest before your special day .Time to look forward and it won't be easy but better to be heartbroken in the place where magic happens than at home heading in to winter , there is a reason for everything maybe this will be the beginning of better things for you ...
