It's a basic search leave direct unticked and key in dates 1st to 14th Aug from Man to Mia. Skyscanner.net

I've not seen under 440 either and I have been checking multiple times per day on skyscanner, googleflights, Kayak and Momondo for weeks.

This won't be for everyone, but if you see a great price with them, are prepared for a 1-stop journey but don't have all your ducks in a row to allow you to book, it buys you 7 days to book. Similarly, if you're despairing at the ever increasing prices, it buys you 7 days in that scenario too where it can't rise anymore while you get things in place to book.
This is good to know, can you do this on line or do you have to call them?

I don't know if I book too soon but I have never gotten anything below £300 for 2 adults and 3 kids (even when the youngest wasn't born or didn't pay) I'm obviously doing something wrong!

Completely on line. When you click through to buy, it gives you an option to buy the actual flights, or to just Farelock them. You simply choose the Farelock option and pay for it. The Farelock expires after 7 days unless you tick the option to auto-purchase them at the end of the 7 days.

If you find cheaper flights elsewhere in the 7 days, you simply go for it and cancel the United Farelock.

You can also Farelock for 3 days which is cheaper.

Also posted on the deals/no chat thread.

Possible glitch on BA website.

Booked late last night :-

Friday 29/06/18 Glasgow - Gatwick 21.45/2315 (Will book Premier Inn nr Gatwick for about £40)
Saturday 30/06/18 Gatwick - Orlando 11.20/15.35

Monday 23/07/18 Tampa - Miami 15.30/16.35 (American Airlines)
Monday 23/07/18 Miami - Heathrow 18.00/07.40 (American Airlines)
Tuesday 24/07/18 Heathrow - Glasgow 10.00/11.30

1 night Rosen Inn International (Added £60 to price, but I do need this night anyway)

Total incl Hotel night £1885.56, 2 Adults 2 Teens (14 & 12).

Booked using Flight & Car option. Added hotel then cancelled car, chose alternative flights (kept defaulting to BA one stop flights after changes). Just play about and it might work for you. When choosing these return flights it was reducing the price by £602 in total.

Thought it was a no-brainer and connections seem ok?

Is anyone else having trouble bringing up flights on the BA page? We have had no luck yesterday or today.

Flights only go up to 30th August is that why? Plus car hire dates area couple of dates behind that.
