Here now - Christmas questions
We’ve just arrived with 2 children, 10 and 7. Where is the best place to meet ‘the real’ Santa 🎅. Also, thinking of going out for Christmas dinner, not specifically looking for traditional Christmas dinner but wondering if there’s a list of restaurants open on Christmas Day anywhere? The two we’ve been to already are closed Christmas Day. Thanks

We saw Santa at celebration, also took a horse and carriage ride in the evening, which takes you around where all the houses are decorated, it was lovely, and the snow fall and carol singers in the Main Street is good. This was 6 years ago, but assume they still do it. We did that a few days before Christmas.
For lunch we went to chef Mickeys, but booked 180 days out. We wanted to see characters on Christmas Day without going into a park, and then we looked around the monorail hotels at their decorations, followed by golf at wintersummerland, it was a lovely day.

Bass pro is great, loads of free stuff to do and even a free photo with Santa, it really is very good.
If you don’t want a traditional dinner gaylord palms is a good choice, you could do ice and snow at the same time, my only concern is getting a reservation this close. |

Thanks everyone. Found Santa at Holywood Studios this morning but are planning a trip to Celebration so will check out the horse and carriage ride option. For food initially was going to cook as I would at home but now that we are here, I’ve changed my mind, hence not having booked anywhere. Will look up the suggestions so far and see if I can get a reservation anywhere. Any more suggestions are very welcome 😄

Let's hope that Villa de Flora is as nice as it was on Christmas Day 2009.
