I hate tipping, and I hate sales tax... not because I'm tight (which I am) but because I just don't want to work it out or even think about it

Same with the tolls... unnecessary admin, just stick it on the gas. I know... bit too socialist for the yanks

I never thought that my question would bring out so many good and knowledgable (I think thats how you spell it ) people.

Really, you have all been a great help.

Now if someone can tell me where I can get some quarters in Nottingham for these tolls. My little money bag only has 2x2 dollar bills: 6 quarters: 2 dimes and 3 pennies.

If my calculation is right, that only adds up to $1.73. So 2 cents short.

Do you think they will take an I.O.U.?

You have three options.


1. Buy a bar of chocolate at MCO

2. Use the Sunpass

3. Change your accommodation to somewhere in Davenport where I know for a fact that the first toll on 417 is manned.


Maybe option 1 the easiest
