New car

Just started looking for a new car and going for something completely different. Has anyone used Car Wow or any of the other online brokers? Discounts on a new car seem to be quite large but are they worth using?

We pick up our new car tomorrow and car wow was worth a extra £2000 off the price so a saving of £4000 off list price. We went with a karoq. There are some good offers on vw group cars. My daughter is interested in a Audi q2 and it could be cheaper on pcp than buying a ex demo using Audi discount and car wow.

When I bought my Mercedes SLC in 2016 there weren’t any local dealers on CarWow and I didn’t want to travel, so I went to my local dealer and they gave me a close pretty similar to CarWow. Mercedes were doing a deposit contribution at the time so the discount was over £8000

While we where in the dealership the salesman wanted to discuss the deal, he came closer to us so the people at the next table with another salesman couldn’t hear the discount as they hadn’t used car wow. We also got a £20 Amazon voucher for reviewing the dealership.

OP. Have you thought about a pre registered car?

I refuse to buy brand new and lose £5K as I drive off the forecourt.

I am on my second car from Sytner that was bought this way. The one I am now driving was 14 weeks old and had 9 miles on the clock!

The reduction I got was insane

I agree brand new is not the way to go.

Look for pre reg, demonstrators and manufacturer owned.

The more extras included will give the biggest discounts.
