Loving these reports! Heading for our first trip in February and I seem to have spent most of my time researching food! Looking forward to the rest!

That place looks lovely but do they keep the alligators out? I’d be scared going in there.

There are warnings posted about the wildlife including alligators! However I believe the rangers do close off the swimming areas if gators are in the area the same way they do if Manatees are there

DAY FIVE
BREAD BOX
CHUYS

So after a relaxing day yesterday. it was back to normal and we headed for Universal Studios, which happens to be my favourite park. This was the quietest we have seen the park, so much so that even Despicable Me was Walk On and we sat and watched The Ragtime Gals in Jimmy Fallon by ourselves. They even thanked us for staying to see their show!
So Lunchtime arrived and we headed to Breadbox. Now for me while the sandwiches are really good here the major draw for me is the Tater Tots. So if you want my advice if you come here forego the fries option and go for the Tots
Anyway Elaine went for the Tuna Salad Platter which comes on toasted Multi Grain Bread

While I went for the Roast Beef Platter which comes in a Toasted Ciabatta

As good as always and as for the Tater Tots

So later that night we headed down the 192 to our favourite Mexican hangout in Florida, Chuys. Food is always fantastic here, the staff are always attentive and chatty and overall it has a great atmosphere. If you have never been. you don't get complementary bread here, it's Chips and Salsa and if you get a good server they also bring you some Creamy Jalapeno Sauce as well

Once again I was the designated driver so Elaine hit the Cocktails and had a Strawberry Mojito

Now for the mains Elaine went with Fajita Chicken Soft Tacos

While I went for the Chicken Flautas

If you like Mexican food this is the place to go and boy does it fill you up, in fact I don't think either of us has ever cleared our plate on our visits here. However that just gives us an excuse to revisit to see if we can achieve it

Two great meals today and both are places we've never been. I've got to say I love tots so Breadbox has just shot to the top of the list for lunch at universal. We also love Mexican and have favoured Chillis in the past on I Drive maybe we should give Chuys a go as I've seen a few good reviews of it.

We were exactly the same; if we fancied a Mexican we went to Chilis. However after a couple of mixed visits we decided to try somewhere new so after some recommendations we gave Chuys a try. We have never been back to Chilis since.
