Alamo late return charges.

Hi all we travel in November and our return flight has been put back 2 hours. Rebooking the car is adding nearly Ł100 Alamo terms gives you half hour grace and if less than 2 hours late will only charge for those hours. Anyone had to do this and are the 2 hour charges reasonable and also does the hire time start from the time you pickup car. Thanks

Hi. The 'clock' starts when you pick the car up be it early or late. Never change the times as there is no point. They know flights come in early and also late.

The key is to not go over the 24 hour segments. So collect at 4.35pm then get it back by 4.34pm albeit they give 29 minutes grace.

This will help you out as it's only a day old.
