1 week to go google maps revision to do

Well with a week to go I think its time to start revising the local google maps. Who needs sat nav.

Not flown to MCO before so first route to put into my memory from airport to hotel.

Doing busch gardens this year so need to study that route although I have found the local golden coral for breakfast on that day.

I am sure the local I4, I535, I536 and I192 roads along with international drive will come back to me once behind the wheel.

Who else doesn't rely on sat nav and uses the old paper in emergency. Only got lost once last year and that was in Disney late at night trying to find the contemporary hotel for the following mornings character breakfast.

Hi,

We're out here now and despite driving from Fort Lauderdale to Naples to Clearwater to Busch to Orlando we have not used Sat Nav. We've used a combination of paper maps, mobile phone maps (which have been absolutely faultless) and common sense. We considered buying a Sat Nav after arriving but haven't needed it so haven't bothered. You'll be fine!

We've also only ever used maps for our 4 trips, including visits to Gulf coast,Daytona,KSC,state parks etc never had a problem. orlandomaps/ is excellent and has the route from MCO on it as well as most eateries and a large I Drive map on the back.

My husband does the driving but he never uses a Sat Nav. Ironically we use it in UK. He likes to follow the roads and loves driving out there. We will print out something off google maps like you and use if necessary. Also will have Iphones as back up. It's all part of the fun of the holiday.
We also got lost on our first trip trying to find the Hotel in the dark, lol.

Think I might load that on my phone as a back up. Looks good.

Its easy to drive in the US. The signs are much better than the UK. A few A4 print outs and thats all you need. Never bother with a sat nav
