Sorry but just need confirmation...
We bought voucher type 14 day Disney tickets. We are thrilled with them and they have linked beautifully to our US friend's MDE account and our Magicbands (we have combined our DVC points and are staying together in a three bed villa at the Beach Club ). We have all our FP+ booked and all is fantastic.
However, I am a little confused about whether we need to still have our voucher validated at a will call window or guest services desk. Mrs Orlando says that we do (and she is very wise and so, she should know ), but others have said that once their confirmation numbers were all linked to their Magicbands and their FPs booked, they didn't have to make the trip to a will call window or guest services desk - their passes were already validated and gate ready. Does anybody have any experience of this? Are our tickets gate ready now that they are linked to MDE and Magicbands? If we need to still validate them and, if so, can we do this at the guest services desk at the Beach Club? Thank you so much xxx

Sorry to butt in but I didn't think there were 3 bed villas at Beach Club?
I think you do need to validate tickets and you can do it at the Int'l Gateway at Epcot |

Goodness you are right - I can't imagine why I put that!
Confusing things as we are in a three bedroom beach cottage in Vero later on in the holiday. Of course, it is a two bed bedroom villa at the BC. Thanks - I was hoping to do it at the BC guest services desk. In fact, I was hoping I didn't need to do it at all Thank you xx |

You definitely don't need to will call or collect your tickets, if everything is linked to your band then you are good to go straight away. It would probably make sense for Disney to add a paragraph on their e-voucher/will-call , stating that you need to pick them up unless you have already linked them to a MB.

Thanks Shooby!
This makes sense to me. What would be the point of a will call window visit?

So my experience in April this year:
- Staying at Pop - Bought 14-day Disney Ultimates from the Disney UK website - Linked Will Call ticket to MDE so I could book FPs - MDE also linked to my old Magic Band, and my new Magic Band. - Checked in at Pop, asked the CM if I could go straight to the gate at a park without stopping at Will Call (very important as I was headed to 7am EMH at AK, and really wasn't sure if Will Call would be open then!). He said yes. - Went straight to the gate at AK and got in with no issues. Never even visited a Will Call window during my time there! Possible confounding factors on my side though is that I already had a Magic Band from my visit last year, and that they already had my fingerprint from my visit last year!
