TGV train from DLP to CDG

Looking for some advice and information please.

Just booked 6 nights in Paris in May - excited much. First 3 nights offsite, and taking the bus from the airport for this. Final 3 nights are onsite, so we will go back to the airport directly from DLP.

I believe there's a TGV which takes around 10-15 minutes.

Being a complete novice, can anyone give me an idiot's guide to using this please? Is it straight forward to find at the Marne la Vallee station? Is there different ones depending on your terminal at Charles de Gaulle? How frequently do they leave? Roughly how much should I expect to pay for a one way journey - 2 adults + a 16 year old?

Is there a website where you can buy tickets in advance for a better price? If yes - any links? And would it be in English or French?

Any help greatly appreciated. Thank you.

sncf/en/trains/tgv is the website for the TGV and will have schedules and fares for the TGV (I think they usually come out about 3 months in advance but could be wrong).

The TGV journey itself does take only about 10 minutes between CDG and Marne La Vallee. It only stops at one stop at CDG (can't remember which terminal it is closest to), but it is easy to get from that stop to other terminals using the shuttle train. Very easy to find at the MLV station (which to be honest isn't that large).

I think there is approximately a train every 1-2 hours from MLV to CDG (but it depends on time of day etc).

Not sure if you get a better price in advance. I bought my ticket at CDG last year to get from CDG to MLV, think it was maybe around 20+ Euros one way?

Trains go on sale 3 months out (except for summer months, when they go on sale in april for the whole summer up to last week in august)

you get the cheapest rates when you book early
check here uk.voyages-sncf/en/ or use trainline
on the UK site they'll try to sell you the one way for around £25 as a "somewhat flexible" ticket
switch the the french site oui.sncf/ if you don't mind it and you might get a first class ticket for the same price (30€ or so)
or be on the lookout for the non refundable tickets, which are cheaper.

if you use a search engine you'll find "ouigo" which are cheaper, but they're lowcost trains, you need to pay extra for luggage and you only get your ticket 3 days out, you need to print it or get it on your phone, so might not be convenient.

Train stops at Terminal 2 in Charles de Gaulle. Just follow the signs, and use the CDGVal (free subway shuttle) if you need to.

Thank you for this tip! Saved £50 by booking via the French site for the exact same train!
