Can Avios points be used to pre book seats?

Hi
We are flying out to Miami in August with AA so have booked seats for free, but we are returning with BA. I am wanting to book some seats including two exit seats and am just wandering if I can use my Avios points towards the cost? If so, how would I go about it?

It definitely wasn't an option earlier this year so unless they have updated their processes it is cash only
