Whos planning for 2021
So who have long countdowns like us and are planning for 2021?
What do you hope to be open by then? I'm hoping Tron is finished but seeing dates of mid August 2021 so any delay will cause us to miss it.

I have 3 or 4 countdowns (still debating when to fit Tokyo in, big birthday in 2020 so thinking that year as it's been a bucket list destination for ever) before that, but definitely planning 2021 as well.
I think they will be aiming to have everything open by the end of September ready for the October anniversary. So August might be a bit hit and miss, but will depend how early they start the anniversary celebrations. Could start in summer, but may be held for the actual day. Edited at 02:29 PM. |

We are going this year but my mum has just said she wants to go for her 60th which will be in 2021. We usually go in August but she wants to go for her actual birthday which will be in December.

We’re just back a few months and this summer will be Spain! 2019 is my DH 40th and we’ve planned New York, so our next Florida trip will be 2021 hopefully and I can’t wait to see Starwars and Toy Story land!

it will be our 20th wedding anniversary in 2021 so planning to go, have already asked eldest if she thinks that at 16 she will be too old for Disney to which she responded 'you're never too old for Disney!'
I do think 2 adults and 3 children (Disney adults at 12, 14 & 16) we may feel too cosy in 1 room and have to go for something bigger. We have a 2 bed apartment at Grande Villas resort (2 miles from DS) for the first night of our October stay for £100 a night less than our POR room (with free qsdp) as there was no availability at POR. I could have kept phoning Disney to check but we agreed the extra space for arrival night would be nice and gives a taste of being off Disney but still close by and on a resort with a kitchen and plenty of food outlets close by. |
