Or you can arrange to drop off at a different location, such as a hotel nearby. Most of the rental companies allow you to book another drop off location.
Next year I intend doing 2 x 1 week rental with the first pick up MCO and drop off St Petes Beach and then have 2nd week pick up St petes beach drop off Tampa airport. My under 25 driver will then be on the 2nd weeks rental without the price being too silly.

An hour and a half out of your day to run to the airport can save you hundreds. Surely it's worth it?
