Virgin special assistance

I messaged via online form the special assistance as soon as I booked 2 weeks ago but no reply yet. How long has it taken for them to get back to you or did you just ring?

I always ring them and they are super helpful, I also confirm my request by e-mail and take a copy with me just in case.

So you can complete some things online under special assistance. I found the email took awhile and agree phoning or using the online system is the best option.

I usually call as soon as we book and double check a couple of weeks before we travel. Depends if they need a MEDIF form completing for you to travel as once your doctor has completed the form they then have to get their own doctor to clear it.

This time we were sent the form by Virgin at the beginning of August we are due to travel end of September, but we are still struggling to get this completed and returned to Virgin due to the numerous doctors involved, and they chased us up a couple of days ago.

ooo I’m not sure what the form is ☺️ .. it’s my mum who had a stroke earlier in the year, she can’t stand or walk very well .. I don’t hunk she would make it from gate to plane.
It’s her first time flying and she is sooooo nervous as well but after the stroke she is now so determined to go and make up what she has missed ... poor kids will be nearly 18 and it’s princesses and dumbo ride (they are boys as well lol) x

Phoned today and really helpful all sorted in less than 5 mins then an email straight away to confirm. I don’t need a form filled in so all was ok. Thanks everyone
