Are you my husband?

Ours goes up the first weekend in December - so the 1st this year. I haven't broken the news to DH yet.

Ours usually goes up on the 1st weekend, which should be the 1st December this year, however we're down in Dublin from Thursday the 28th November to Sunday the 1st December for the Late Late Toy show, and shopping weekend, so it'll be the following weekend this year.

I have already spotted four houses in the last week with the tree, outside lights etc up. For some reason my ds wants them up early this year, and looking at how jam packed our calendar is, i have a feeling i may have to out them up this sunday or there wont be another free day before the 25th! However, if this does happen, i am planning on having my own switch on "ceremony" at a later date with mulled wine and hot chocolate... now then... which z lister can i ask to throw the switch... dh i suspect bless him!

We’re going to start putting ours up on the 23rd Nov. The boxes are all down from the loft.

This year though, it’s my husband who can’t wait! I came home from work yesterday evening to this.

Usually the first Friday in December we buy the tree. I love Christmas so when it’s up it’s great. Thought it comes down January 1st. The wife has stripped off all the decorations by the time I’m back from walking the dog at 7am.
