What a day, dh bought a new car so we don’t have to go out in the works van anymore. Then I was browsing flights to Toronto and found a great deal for September next year! So they are booked, before I managed to tell my sons fiancée she messaged me to tell me her job had let her go. They made up excuses but it was defiantly due to her MS diagnoses. So I’m happy we are booked and have a new car but sad for her!

That is great you booked the tickets, but sad for your future daughter in law. I guess laws are different in Canada, but in the UK most big companies would have to make reasonable adjustments to accommodate staff who have medical conditions. I doubt that her work is suffering with her condition at this early stage.

Good news on the car, and I hope it's a hatchback so you can put the seats down to fit all those cakes in

I feel bad for her, she manages a shop and works really hard and goes in early till late does 7 days if she has to. She had time off while she was in Hospital and that was frowned on. I will eat as many cakes as I can this Christmas MH and then have to diet for the wedding in the New Year!
