Changing Booking by 1 day

Hi,

Are Disney accomodating if I wanted to do a change to my booking by 1 day? Same hotel, same duration, but arriving a day later to get cheaper flights?

Can't say for sure but it could come down to availability on that one day.

I've emailed Disney to see.
I could potentially save hundred on flights!

We changed our booking last time form 14 days to 16 as flights were cheaper it was August school holidays and we phoned disney and they were brilliant just ammneded the booking. I think it could be a potential problem if there is no availabilty but I would just ask them. Only alternative would be changing rooms or resorts if it was a problem if they were booked up. X

It would be better to ring them but they normally charge for amendments unless the price goes up .

Hi, We’ve had to change our Disney bookings on a few different trips due to DH’s work.

They are very helpful and we’re able to change it with no problems on 3 trips but last year there was no availability at the Yacht Club for our date change. We were advised to keep checking back in case availability became available but after a few months there was nothing coming up so they managed to get us availability at the Beach Club which we were happy with..

I would definitely call though, that way you can get a direct answer.

You would be better ringing them, I doubt they are going to change your booking over email exchange. If there is availability they will change of course, if the overall price stays the same or goes down there will be a £50 admin fee.

If there is availability in your chosen resort then yes they will change it, if the price goes down you will be charged a £50 amendment fee. They won’t do anything over email because of security reasons so you need to phone them to ask.

As others have said - you will need to ring to actually make any change. Plus they have something like an up to 7 day turnaround for email meaning even if they get back to you in a few days with a response on whether it is available or not the flight prices might have gone up by then.
You'll need to ring them to go ahead anyway so I'd just give them a quick ring to find out. As mentioned, there will be a one off £50 amendment fee.

I rang Disney as suggested and unfortunately they didn’t have availability (standard view at Animal Kingdom Lodge) - might keep trying intermittently to see if any luck!
