I kinda felt the Beast's rage just there. Tried to get through on the phone and whilst waiting in the queue, I got a 'great, now hang up and follow the instructions on the text we've sent' and hung up on me. Did I press 1 to select the text service? Nope

I am beyond furious. The worst of it is, I'm trying to talk myself down because it's all automated and if I even do get to speak to anyone (ha!) it's not their fault so the only person who is remotely bothered by my money being withheld is me.

I totally feel your anger. I have chased so many times on WhatsApp (and Twitter) but it’s the same old response - we’re sorry yours has slipped through. No you’re not sorry, you’re hanging on to money that’s not yours. This was my first time booking with Virgin and I can quite categorically say it will be my last.

Same as me, CBA chasing VA for £70 however my bubble refund was back in my account this week, no emails or contact from VA. My flight was 30th April booked via KLM with bubble seats via VA.

Well, after waiting 139 days my refund for the Bubble seats has finally arrived!

I have finally received an email today from virgin confirming they have processed my refund for seats. flights were refunded approx 2 weeks ago. Flights cancelled in April.
However having had no response from virgin, I claimed through my credit card & received a full chargeback in June.

Did you all book your flights direct with Virgin Atlantic?

Our bubble seats were booked through our Virgin Holiday.
The refund voucher we got from them didn't include the bubble seat reservation cost.

VA told me they couldn't help as I didn't have a VA reference. I can't get through to anyone at Virgin Holidays. Just keep getting automated responses.

Can anyone suggest a course of action to chase my 747 bubble seat reservation cost?

Similar to Muggle we are also waiting on a refund for the bubble seats booked through Virgin holidays.

Submitted bank details for my refund (even though my details havent changed since we book it grr) but the refund amount clearly does not include our bubble seats.

Can anyone advise the best way to get a refund? The reference virgin gave for the flights does not bring them up on the website anymore so I don't know what to do.

We receive email from virgin atlantic today saying we would get our bubble refund in 1-14 days time and attached a pdf with the details.
This was for a package booked through virgin holidays then upgraded separately, didn't apply for the refund but I did mesage them on twitter few months back and got assured they were all being processed automatically

The bubble seat refund for our 19 Dec 2021 flights popped into my bank account this morning. I asked VA about the refund in May, and was told they were processing them automatically and I just had to wait.

The holiday was booked through VH and the seat reservations done on the VA website when the seat reservation was released. I reserved seats in two batches (outgoing first, then inbound two weeks later) and have received a refund for both at the same time.

I've had no email telling me that it was coming and nothing today telling me it has arrived. If it wasn't for the phone notification from my Monzo app I might not have noticed it.
