I loved all of the food in Japan and now I want to go back thanks to you reminding me of that LOL. I loved the alien mochi balls; we also had stormtrooper ones!

What a great report. Do you have a full report or any details of the names of the hotels you stayed in? This is a holiday we would love to do but we are overwhelmed by where to start/best places to stay. Thank you.

It's such an amazing country! I would definitely recommend the trip
Alcohol wasn't too expensive - average £4.50 a pint but sake was cheap. Alcohol was more expensive in Disney. Food was always good value!
April was a little rainy at times but the temperature was nice - about 20 degrees, plus you get to see the cherry blossoms
I've heard from others that Japan is too hot to handle in the summer.

Sorry we don't have a full report but happy to answer any questions

When we went to Disney we stayed at the Spa & Hotel Maihama Eurasia. I highly recommend this hotel - very close to Disney but you're not paying Disney prices.
In Tokyo centre, we stayed at the InterContinental ANA Tokyo.
In Nagoya, we stayed at the Richmond Hotel Nagoya Shinkansenguchi, which is near the Train Station.
In Kyoto, we stayed at Kyoto Tokyu Hotel.

I'd definitely recommend doing Disney, Tokyo and then Kyoto to see the traditional side of Japan
