Cinnabon alert!

Oh my.

We were driving through Stafford today when we happened upon new signage at a petrol forecourt that has changed hands and has been modernised. I spotted the familiar logo and couldn’t do more than point, mouth agape, and finally, a disbelieving and gutteral, “nooooo?!”

We rang our DS18 whose reaction was almost exactly the same noise as I’d made! 😂

Had a look online to see if I could find the opening date and discovered that there are several already open (of a planned 150)!

So we hatched a plan. Drove back home, got the eldest to look after the youngest and put the pizzas in the oven. We headed out to our favourite smokehouse in Crewe (Hickories) for an impromptu celebratory Cajun salmon then drove not far around the corner to Shavington to a garage where Cinnabon opened a week and a half ago!

“Do you have a loyalty card?” I joked.
“Yes,” replied the lovely ladies behind the counter!

This final kilo I have been trying to lose is going nowhere.
