Seaworld date extension

We are currently in possession of seaworld tickets which were purchased in February 2021. The ticket expiry says it is 2020. Does anyone know how long they’re valid for?
We were told by attraction tickets who we bought them off that seaworld have extended all tickets but when I checked the seaworld website, it says they are only valid until the first week in 2022. We don’t travel now (hopefully) until next July.

I’ve contacted attraction tickets and waiting for a response but wondered if anyone here knows whilst I impatiently await their reply.

Attraction Tickets' website says the following:

The validity of 2020 and 2021 2- and 3-Park SeaWorld Tickets not yet activated have been automatically extended until 31 December 2022 and can be first activated anytime on or before this date. Please keep hold of your tickets if you are changing your holiday dates to 2022.

So the 2020 or 2021 14-day Seaworld tickets should also be valid throughout 2022.

By activation, I presume they mean when you attend the park?

I believe I reserved a place online, I hope that doesn't count as activation.

Yes, "activation" usually means "first time you use it to enter a park".

No, it doesn't.
Also, the Seaworld parks have got rid of their park reservations now. You no longer need to make park reservations for Seaworld, Busch Gardens, and Aquatica.

If you go to the Seaworld website:
seaworld/orlando/tickets/

You'll see a banner at the top of the page that says:

Reservations are NO LONGER REQUIRED for SeaWorld Orlando. See you soon!
