Watched it the other morning.
I’ve often wondered why he is allowed to keep such a tight grip on her life, I’d love to know how much he’s managed to skim off , he’s not the best business man to be managing her finances. Wondering what the new conservators will find. He knows she doesn’t want him, yet he clings on.
Over the years she’s kept all the family, including her ex, they all use her as a piggy bank. I find it appalling

It's awful. It's as if her father has been given the right to psychologically, emotionally and financially abuse her. Everything he is doing would be abuse under every other circumstance imo. It breaks my heart seeing her as she is, this was not the life she should have had.

I don’t know if you watched the program with Gail Porter the other night. She wasn’t treated any better and that’s without being a multi million dollar cash cow. What a society we live in to do this to each other.

Watched this the other night, it seems a total contradiction that she can go out to perform night after night to earn millions but isnt trusted to take care of her own money.

There is obviously things the general public don’t know regarding her state of mind. The guy who she tried to hire said that even he had not read the file on why she first went away (sorry, I do not know the official wording).
She could be a danger to herself or others.

I was a teenager in the early 2000s. At school, girls were slut shamed for owning their sexuality whilst boys bragged about how many people they’ve slept with. It’s a complete double standard and still exists today. I’m glad we are starting to realise how damaging this is.

I think Britney, all women and girls deserve better.

Is there “obviously” ? What would they be ?
Fact, she has had issues in the past , fact she seems to have recovered and is stable and earning .
Most people we encourage in MH recovery and to regain control over their own lives , yet it seems the amount of money involved here has prevented this. It’ll be interesting to see what the new trustees conclude.
