Baked Alaska
Has anyone successfully made a Baked Alaska? Its my favourite dessert and since we haven’t been cruising am missing it! Would love to have a try at making my own.

Yes I do it’s easy if you have a cooks blow torch or have your grill as hot as it will go for several mins before you put it under
Just remember to use easy release cooking spray and line the bowl with cling film and chill the ice cream for at least 4 hours don’t use soft scoop then take out the freezer and add your sponge or brownie base I then chill it overnight Then just before serving take out cover with meringue and either walk it under the grill or as I do use the blow torch |
