When in Miami we love to go to Key Biscayne and Bill Baggs state park and try and get on one of the lighthouse and lighthouse keeper’s cottage tours. They are really interesting and there are superb views from the top of the lighthouse over the area. We normally have lunch at No Name harbour which is a lovely little restaurant with a verandah overlooking the harbour which is normally quiet.

We flew into Miami in 2018 and went up the gulf coast staying 3 nights in Naples, 2 nights in St Pete's beach and then 9 days in Orlando. It was a great trip.

Thanks for all of the replies. Now I'm considering adding a Disney cruise from Miami. So a week at universal, two/three days somewhere on the way and then four night cruise.
There are so many options! |
